Founded in 2000 by Quinton Everest as an intimate group of choral friends in Yardley, PA, the Bucks County Motet Singers has developed over the past seven years into an elite, 28-member auditioned chamber choir dedicated to the pursuit of musical excellence in the Delaware Valley. Comprised of a diverse group of musicians, BCMS nurtures and develops the skills of its singers, which range in age from youths to seniors, and seeks to increase community appreciation and support for the choral arts through public performances and collaboration with other musical and arts organizations.

Our musical focus can perhaps be best summed up as "roots and wings."  Our programming spans several centuries, honoring the rich a cappella choral tradition that springs out of the Renaissance period motets—our "roots," and also presenting our audiences with wide-ranging musical offerings from the best of contemporary composers, which demonstrate the "wings" of the choral musical future.

The Bucks County Motet Singers are artists-in-residence of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Yardley, PA. In addition to requested engagements, the group performs two regularly scheduled concerts every year.
